It appears I need an oil baffle in my rocker box at the PCV valve.
I have a nice pair of original old Mickey Thompson black wrinkle ribbed aluminum ones with a long history I appreciate. I really don't want to drill holes & put screws or bolts & nuts in them (--but I will if I have to...)
Any recommendations for an adhesive I can use to securely attach a baffle?
I'm running old style "classic" steel wool breathers, one open to atmosphere, one with the PCV valve between the charcoal canister & the Q-jet.

Running a freer breathing pintel for the PCV---might a more restrictive one help? The problem is smoke out the pipes....

(leakdown test excellent. Guides & seals good. Just replaced intake gaskets, that helped a lot--but dammit, it still puffs a bit.)

For some reason, PCV valves in the covers has always been a piss poor idea, baffles and boxes bullshit not withstanding....you will still get oil sucked up....

I know that old Pontiac engines from the 60-70's had the PCV in the lifter valley cover which was nicely baffled against oil splash and so there was never a problem....

I found that almost impossible to duplicate on a SBC L98 manifold....and it just suffered along with sucking oil from the covers since then....

I have since put on a highly modified LT1 manifold....with the valve up top, above the oil splash cover...and so just about like the Pontiacs of years ago, it just about eliminated the oil consumption problem...my only thought is those valve covers have to be generating one HELL of a oil mist in there and any suction at ALL will take that oil right outta there....

believe me, I messed around plenty with it, tried every damn silly thing in the book, even tried a air pump hooked as crank ventillation, that worked fine, but STUNK like skunks ass after a hard night....
