Banned again....

Well, I just learned from my friend Dave (Me80C3) that I have been banned from yet another CF, this one being plural, more specifically CF's. I must admit that while I did enjoy my brief visit to that site the owner(s) of the site let it get completely over run with drug and sex ads (can you say SPAM?) to the point where the site was just plain disgusting and useless. Towards the end of my time at that forum I tried to recruit as many persons as I could and bring them over here to our site. True Corvette lovers deserve better than that dump. In doing so I am sure that I offended the persons in power there and just to make sure that my intentions were not misunderstood I publicly informed the site owners that I thought that they were MORONS for letting the site get so bad. :pprrtt:

Marck and Larry - Please have MERCY on my poor soul as I am hopelessly misguided and insist on being honest with my opinions and this is one of the LAST Corvette sites that will have me! Soon I will be an outcast in cyberspace, where will I take my Corvette questions and answers then? :cry:

Yeh, which forums?? maybe they looked at your handle and thought....DV8...hummmm must want sex shit.....you know how computers are.....they remember forever....

Naw, I called the site owners out on a lack of maintenance issue. It took them over a month to catch on that there was a problem. By that time I had posted "subversive" threads inviting everyone over here because the other site was in such disarray. I literally posted links to VetteMod.com all over the website for a couple of weeks and no one seemed to care! There were literally hundreds of unrelated/unwanted posts that were blatant spam for penis enlargement, online pharmaceuticals, computer programs, you name it it was there! I got pissy after a few weeks of no one policing the site so I joined the bad guys and posted the VM links, that's what eventually got me booted. I don't really give a hoot - the site was dead, no action - and cluttered with filth. It was maintained like a toilet in a bus depot so I treated it like one.

CAC is dead as a dodo for long time now...never did have much traffic....

69myway/Chris used to post there, but I gave up on the site long ago...

There were OTHER vette forums BEFORE vettemod but they are rather hurting for intelligent traffic now....

visit some of the other sites, and you see posts a day old, even months old still on page ONE....

Lee(DV8) is right. It really did become a cesspool. The only admin that would do anything was C3Starship, He did a great job too. The rest never came around and there is only so much one man could do. It seems to be a little cleaner as of late but the scumbags are still posting rude spam. It's a shame because at one time it really was a top notch site with a lot of really good folks and info.

DV8 coaxed me to come over here and I am greatful for that. I really enjoy reading and helping where I can. Too bad i'm so damn stupid.

This is a great site, Thanks for haveing it and allowing myself to partisipate.
