I'm going to replace the valve covers on my BB Chevy and I'm going to replace the gaskets also. I've had good luck with the FelPro rubber gaskets @ $11 that I have now, buy I see that they also have a upgraded silicone? gasket @ $15 that they call Fel-CoPrene.
Anyone know anything about these?
Price is not the object here, just want to get the best for long term no leaking.

They are just like the one piece pan gaskets, and reusable. No sealer required, no leaks either. I thought they were well worth the money.

The silicone gaskets sound a bunch like the DuraPrene gaskets I use for transmission pans. Way better than the old cork that splits or the rubber that crawls out..

I always opt for the gaskets with built-in torque limiters to prevent over tightening the bolts/nuts.
