Big Bear trip

Any So Cal people intrested in makeing a spirited run up the mountain?
This is a pretty big event, anywhere from 250 to 400 cars. I usually go up early on Sat, eat breakfast, watch the autocross (free), cruise the lake, etc. and come down in the afteroon.

Is this "big bear lake" north east of Moreno Valley up in the San Bernadino mountains ?? I've been there 5 years ago - the scenery is breathtaking. Unfortunately for me it's a cross country trip but if you're anywhere near reasonable driving distance: GO :smash:

Yes, this is a real good day trip if you are in the Los Angeles area.

Youre right about the scenery, last time I went there I rented a bike from a Harley dealership in Loma Linda, cloudy weather in the morning but as you climb, you go thru the clouds and that was beautifull.
When you go over those clouds, looked like the scenery from an airplane window.
