Body mated with frame finally

Congratulations! What color paint is that?

Beautiful place you have, too.

Thanks. That's a C6 blue : Jetstream blue with 4 coats of tinted clearcoat.

I must admit I was worried. A lot of extra's were on this engine (revised oil system with external filter, oil cooler, Canton Accusump,...) and then there is the fuel pump and stuff for the EFI system that is going on as soon as the engine is broken in, the vacuumpump and can,...
But the body went on as a glove. Everything was in the right place. Thight but just enough to clear everything.

Very nice. Looks like you did a ton of prep work. Car will be practically showroom new when you finally start it up.

Question, what headers are those? Looks like you have really good ground clearance with them.

They came with the donor and I found a sign saying they are MrGasket. I cannot find them in a catalog anymore however. They fit rather good, however you cannot mount a regular filter with them anymore.

Nice work! You have put a lot of effort to the chassie and body. It is actually a bit sad to hide the clean looking cassie under the body...
At least I had that feeling after I put my 69 back together.

Mr Gasket bought out the old Appliance wheel/exhaust company in the mid 70's Appliance brand headers were decent quality priced at the lower end of the spectrum. I ran that brand for a while on my 69 Camaro Z/28.

Fit is rather good I must say.
