Well, the March Bird run was rained out again. However, a few VM members managed to have breakfast with our northern member Denpo at Watsons drug store in Orange at the circle.
Bird ran him around a few sites afterwards, and we had a nice long talk. Dennis is a hoot.
Pic, left to R, Bird, Denpo, and Covetteswhite IE, Jeff, Dennis, and George Nerbrt, Bob, not shown, took the pic. Thx Bob

Thanks guys, that was such a cool morning, and excellent breakfast.
Good you guys cancelled the run, weather yesterday got really shitty.
The vette rides was so good, I didn't run mine for 2 years, I had this stupid grind on my face all along the ride.

A day with Bird. We'll hit Corvette Mikes, West Coast Corvettes, J&D Corvettes, Coast Corvettes, and maybe GM down under.

Breakfast was on par with what I'm could have at my favorite next door greasy spoon in Mtl, might have gained a couple of pound, but more because of the beers and boozes I'm having with my friend.
Not much plans anymore, we did Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches, Valley of gods and Monument valley. Maybe a 1 day trip to see the Sequoias, but that's it.
Tomorrow is Corvette tour with Bird. *yeah*

definitely looking forward to seeing the photos... you sure got to see some of the most amazing areas in the US ... you went to Bryce and Zion but didn't stop at the Canyon ??? I assume the road to the north rim was closed because of snow ??
Enjoy the Bird-day :D

Not sure what you mean by "the Canyon", we saw tons of canyons.

when you driv wet from Bryce over to Zion, there's a road that leads to the north rim of the Grand Canyon.... it's near the town Kanab in Utah.... been there when it wa closed in the winter so I only got to see the south rim of "the big hole"

well.... if you haven't seen the Grand Canyon you have a good reason for another trip to the US :D

You're right, we didn't make it. From Las Vegas we when to Zyon, Bryce, then headed east to go see Arches, that had been recommended to us by several friends.

no biggie, you saw a lot of great stuff.... still, you have to come back to see the rest :D

it probably takes a eight week vacation to see all the great sites in that area :D

I went to the south side in AZ, and about shit at the first glimpse, I freeked out, since I only good to about 20' on a ladder/house/etc.....took about 30 minits for me to get within 15' of the edge, sure as hell is beautiful though...sat there and watched a sunset for several hours, the color changes are nothing short of phenomenal....:shocking:

it is a MUST SEE item, make the trip, take the time, NO NOT FAIL TO DO>>>>>

I will be anxious to see the pics too. Wish we could have spent a little more time while you were in the area, but still good to meet you both. Just a good reason to come up to Montreal I guess.

2nd that. Absolutely must see in person. Pictures don't do it justice. I think everyone should see the Grand Canyon at least once in their lifetime.

Maybe after that, head down south to Sedona and hop on a Pink Jeep Tour. That's usually where we take our east coast guests.

Well, Dennis , Doug and I spent all afternoon together seeing the "Corvette" sights around my area. We had Italian for lunch,(Thank you Doug), toured around, and had Dinner with Corvettes White. (Thanks again George).
Dennis took lots of pictures, and will be posting them in a revived thread when he gets home.
Have fun on the rest of your holiday Dennis.
