Briggs Speed Cunningham was a wealthy American who raced unusual American iron internationally in the late 40s and early 50s. This included the Corvettes as well as Cadillac and Chrysler. The Cadillac and Chrysler Allards were incredible cars, and a Chrysler version has raced at Summit Point in historic events. Briggs lived to nearly 100 and died a few years ago.
