Not the first time they "find" a talent like that
they did the same with Paul Potts a couples of years ago.

good marketing since everybody talks about it.
Paul Potts sold tons of records after his appearance at the show and he was in Montréal (coincidently) last week to promote his second record.

I saw that Paul Pott's appearance too... pretty cool, he did "nessum dorma" ...Simon's face was just priceless :bump:

Ms Boyle caught him by surprise as well, just like everybody in the audience...LOL

You know, come to think of it, with all the applicant to those shows there has to be some surprises like that who will come once in a while.
After it's just a matter of putting the marketing machine into gear

Might be one reason they're replacing Paula Abdul with Kara DioGuardi .... anyways......most auditions here are entertaining and qualify for "worst of idol" where they just make an ass out of themselves.... :smash:
