Change oil after intake manifold gasket change?

The front manifold seal was leaking on my RPM air gap manifold so I went ahead and pulled it while the carn was already off. Does enough water go into the engine to warrant an oil change? I just changed the oil so before I assume I need to I wanted to ask. There was no standing water in the valley so it did not look like much got in there.

Thoughts?

yes always change it the cost is nothing compaired to it taking out the bearings and crank...... seen it happen see the thing is the water sits on the bottom and it is the first thing sucked in on start up. change the oil:thumbs:

For the warm and fuzzy feeling I'd change it too but if I know I just changed it and it's fresh and good for another 3000 miles... probably not for a cup of water on 5 qts oil...

Thanks guys I just hated wasting the Valvoline 50 weight racing oil. It has only been in there a few days. But better than spinning a bearing. The motor is running straight water with no anti freeze and I guess I was hoping that what ever got in would not be significant enough and would evaporate.

Well... you could drain the oil and heat it on the stove to get rid of the water... got some old pots ??? Disclaimer: This method only works if you're single :lol:
