I am hitting an invisible wall trying to obtain my Firearms ID card and Permits to purchase.

The process is supposed to take 30 days.

I was turned down earlier this year and told to reapply, which I did...

I had a right to appeal the first denial but the cops misdirected me, intentionally I am sure... so I had to reapply

It is past the 60 day mark

I called the officer in charge and was told the following

"I am busy taking care of back to school related work."

"I was on vacation and when I got back my desk was piled up with work."

"Call me on Friday." (today is Monday)

at which point I asked, "If I call you on Friday, how much longer will it take?"

His response, "About another month."



I am sorry but this is BULLSHIT. If I get a fucking legal notice in the mail, a tax bill or any other government fucking time sensitive thing I HAVE TO COMPLY or face the consequences....

Come to NEW JERSEY! and get your rights SHIT ON!!!!

I told you about all MY run in's with .gov over the decades, and even back to when my Father came home PISSED one night, you wooden believe it,

I say it was about '56 or so, me being like age 12 and watching Howdy Doody on the still NEW to me b/w TV in the living room

Dad get home PISSED one night, I lower the volume to hear from down the hall, figgering I"m in trouble yet again.....

but NO, some damn crook on the hill wanted a kickback on a health insurance proposal Dad had in for the US Dept. of Interior.....read national parks/etc......

BUT some crooked senator on the hill wanted a kickback or his plan was NOT going to be allowed for open enrollment.....

Dad did not pay him off.....THAT was one of the major points of my knowledge of the way the DC .gov works......

not another word was ever said about that, again.......

Especially being age 8 and being hoisted on the backs of some men witnessing the Eisenhower inauguration in '52......and wondering WTF??

then getting our first TV, and seeing all that crap on Edward R. Morrow/Walter Cronkite and the films and remember seeing that just down the street....we could DRIVE there in a short TRIP!!!!

Camden, NJ is about a 15 minute drive from my very comfortable suburban home. I am sure that I could find something in a relatively short time.
