Over 'there' I get so many hangups on any downloads from time to time, I just hit the hell outta the reload button instead of waiting forever....

and on the XP machine I have, on the lower left, just above the start button, there appears another bar, with the word DONE in it....when any d/load is requested all this flashing of gibberish appears on there, flashed by super fast...but when it hangs up....it says waiting for

a1.interclick.com or jbr.lsr.com who in fuck ARE they?? the forum servers seem to respond immediately as it flashes by really quickly, but the rest of that unknown crap hangs up all the time....

is that part of the addy overloading guys have complained about?? pop ups and all that shit, I have whatever popup killers most of the newer software comes with, every once in a while one sneaks by but not often,

just wondering what goes on, as the same sort of shit happens once in a while with my banking/CUnion site too.....

HERE is always super fast and reliable, to see if it's my computer or something, I go here for a test d/load....that way I know the basics are fine...

One is an ad company down here in Boca and the other is a data miner in Wisconsin.

With faster processors and internet speeds, this stuff is almost unnoticeable, but 90+% of computers out there are all trashed up.
You can become a slave to keeping them clean.

You can run Hijack this and clean all out and install CCleaner and a good prog like Trend Micro. I don't bother much these days, if the simple progs don't handle it quickly, I just reimage the drive, it's much faster and easier.

Download AVG internet Security Suite
Download Malwarebytes
Download Zone Alarm

Select the free versions..if you have any malware, spyware, Malware will find them, AVG is outstanding finding and eliminating spyware, Zone Alarm's firewall, can't beat it for a freebee.

I don't know what your memory configuration is, but if you have less than 4 gig, populate it to 4 gig. Memory is dirt cheap. XP loves memory.
