A few power tools for $25. No big deal, I know. One was a circular saw because I don't own one, another was a cheap Harbor Freight angle grinder that I'll probably just give to my coworker, and the last was a Montgomery Ward vibratory (sheet pad) sander. This is one of those old Made-in-USA die cast bastards. Booger still works too. Combined with a few old power tools my coworker gave me a couple months ago, I have a fairly decent collection.
Don't know why people are just giving these things away. These are the tools that were made to last. One or two of the ones I own are older than my parents and they still work.
Lucky me.

I have an 8" worm drive B&D circular saw I bought at age 20. It cost me about $100. Quite alot back then.
A few years ago, I was at HD, and Skill had a booth outside. I asked him how often I should check the oil, and he said 5 years, or it would not last. He asked me how long it's been, and I replied "32 years."

I have my father's tool box, full of odd stuff I dunno what....

Lots of old tools there, I need pull that out and clean it up for my son, I used to fiddle/play with them when I was a kid.....
