Hi, just needed to vent. Reinstalled the body on frame last weekend & have been trying to get proper door gaps; ugh!!. The front clip is off so I am using the rear quarter to fit to. driver's side is tight approx. 1/16" & the passenger side is good on the bottom have but approx. 3/8" on the top edge. This is more than can be corrected on the number 4 mount w/ shims. Has anybody had to shim the hinge mount or elongate the holes in the door frame?

As you can see from Enkei's pics you will need to add material to make the doors longer and/or thicker (at the bottom on most of these cars) to make it like up nice. I use fiberglass cloth not Bondo or similar agents because a chip on the edge of the door is common and the plastics will not take that well. If you have the front end off you need to level the chassis and then get the top of the door level to get the body "line" to run true from rear fender to front fender with the door in the middle.
