My dentist, Dr. Dick Thompson, invited me down to the old Marlboro race course (MD) in the spring of '68 to watch him test the turbine car. Th engine was surprisingly quiet and frankly quite boring, and as it was a cold damp day, I left after a short time, thus missing out on a lot of history.

I suppose to do a search as some link did not transfer.....

Thanks Dean, the post is a copy paste from one of my oldest friends, we met back in '66 introduced by another friend of mine from HS, Larry Hubert is on facebook and so am I, he is a retired federal cop.....

that 'other' friend.....google the name William Dean Christianson (en?)

met up with him in '62 going to remedial englush klass and then sometime in '66 I bought my first car, a '60 vette for one thousand bux.....and ran into Bill C. again at the local Chevy dealer parts dept......Bill had a bastardized 58/61 vette so we took up friendship until Larry calls one evening, and says 'we have to talk' so over a couple beers, he tells of Bill selling him a corvette hardtop that was stolen off some car in Georgetown, fancy area of DC.....

Bill also stole a solid axle vette, and drove it to an area known as the Palisades along the shore of the Potomac River, up into the woods not so far from my folks house, Larry and I saw that car some time later, but I went to get parts off it, the thing was gone.....

:smash::surrender:

So if you read up on old Bill and his escapades, Larry calls sometime in the early 80's and says 'He is OUT'.....so there I am easily found with my ex/kids mom and two small kids.....praying he don't come around.....
