Just went to Lowe's today to buy a new garden sprayer nozzle ... wtf.... ??? ... that "repair kit" is $14.97 and a new 1gal sprayer including the nozzle and everything is $13.77 .... :trumpet::trumpet::trumpet:

I would think this applies to car parts as well sometimes ... any examples ???

I can't remember the exact number but I went to Sears to get a new battery pack for my drill. The new battery was like $80 and a new drill with two batteries was $110.

Must have been DeWalt, they famous for that shit, they wanted 65 bux for the battery, whild Ryobi wanted 25 same 18 volt battery, which of course was just different enough mechanically to not work...So I gave the drill to a neighbor who had some batteries....and bought a Ryobi with two batteries, charger and drill for 80 bux....which wound up in a stolen bucket of tools Eric left in his pickup overnight, so Eric replaces the drill, buys another kit....85 bus or so....flashlight, drill, 18 volt batteries, charger....so now I had 3 batteries and 2 appliances.....:hissyfit:.....Eric is the guy with the 22' Chapparal boat we had the 350 chebby engine over the transom 5X to get it right.....I named the boat 'Pariah'......:crap::crutches:

It's the American way. Use it up, throw it out, buy a new one. These price structures encourage you to do just that!
