Flowmaster- Reverse Flow direction

Sorry, not an engine question, move if necessary.
Has anyone tried or have data on reversing the flow direction on a flowmaster muffler? Someone somewhere wrote that this increased the flow a noticable amount. perhaps around 15%

I don't know, but I could aks the head engineer of Magnaflow R&D to try it on his flow bench if no one else comes up with an answer.

flowmasters don't flow too well....never heard of reversing them. Why not get some proper mufflers right off the bat?

I already have the super 40's, almost new... other mufflers would be great, but hard to justify
