I didn't even watch the videos. I am with Gene on this 100%. I don't like ladders over two stories (about 20') and I sure as hell don't fucking jump off of cliffs, bridges or out of perfectly good flying aircraft. I get enough excitement in the 'Vette. :crap: I must be getting old.

Surely there's someone dying in the video, but it's not gore per se, the guy miss his fly by a bunch of foot (too low) and hit a bridge parapet. He completly disintegrate, no remains found.
Can we still consider sport an act where any slightest error leads to instant death?
I'm ok with skater breaking a leg, but not with this new 'extreme sport'.
It's all nice music and cool attitude and freedom and whatnot, while it's actually pretty idiotic ticket to death.
Guess I'm getting old too :hissyfit::crutches:

The first time I watched that video I too thought they were freakin insane out of their minds. Second time I realized it was just skydiving normal "relative work" and the flying is enhanced by the wings. Still downward descent and the laws of gravity.

In my days of the USPA all of that activity was specifically prohibited. Bat suits particularly, no one dreamt of base jumping in 1976.

Gawd knows if USPA is still the controlling body for US skydiving , still around, or what the regs look like now. I bet scumbag attorneys have driven them out of existance.
