I was a young boy then too, listening to the radio, reading magazines. Craig Breedlove & Art Arfons on the salt flats, Richard Petty & Junior Johnson in the stock cars, A.J. Foyt & Jackie Stewart in the Indy cars (well, AJ was pretty dam good in the stock cars too!), and Stirling Moss were heros. Mario Andretti was up & coming.....
