What does Fox News have to do with a Miss USA parody (about math)? Lots of politicians these day, including the guy at the top, are pretty challenged when it comes to math!

Try this: go to your local store/supermarket/gas station and let's say you've got a $16.49 total.... now give that kid at the register a $20 bill... wait until the amount is entered and the register "tells" him/her how much change to give ($3.51 in this case) ... NOW give him/her 49 cents and see what happens :lol:
likely scenarios:
- you get nothing but a dumb look
- he/she cancels the transaction and rescans the items and enters $20.49 so that the register can "tell" him/her to give $4 change (note: you'll still get the dumb look)
- "Sir, you're giving me too much money" (again with a dumb look)
- you get a $5 bill back - note: in this case you're not getting the dumb look :smash:

Well, some Fox's show looks to me like scary parodies.
I got a diploma in Broadcasting (I could have been a cameraman, a journalist or a producer if I wanted), so when it comes to "opinionated news" I just see all the seams of the tricks, all the fake concerned looks , the calculated body language, the double language and all the insidious images they but in the backgrounds.
And I tend to think that by looking too much at those you would get your capacity to discern truth from BS damaged.
And I'm not talking about what they say (you know I don't agree), but rather the way they try to cram it down your brain.
Wow, a diploma in brodcasting! I had no idea, I'm sure that has made you a more objective judge of what you see on tv than the average guy. I stand corrected.

Yeah, started my career doing filming and editing for television but I did quit rather quickly, television business if full of BS and sharks.
Videogame industry is must more honest about that it's doing.
As I said, I'm not claiming objectivity, I stayed clear from addressing the content of the show, I'm more concerned about all the psychological trick used to prevent people from thinking on their own. Those tricks are used by all the channels, it's just that it's blatantly obvious on Fox case.
You'd be surprise to know why Fox don't broadcast in Canada.
