Great Chinese State Circus - Swan Lake

5 billion hours of rehearsal ......wonder what they had to put up with from the 'leadership'......:club::flash:

Chinese Military Power - Final Edition

Fantastic video you posted.

At the other end of China, punch the above title into Youtube. The army marching is real, not some CG. This is in front of the Imperial Palace back in 2009 in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the revolution.

This is also what the country did with the money they earned selling BS to the US.

I did not want this to be political, sorry I just wanted to show some amazing talent.:search:

My bad judgment. I did not take it political. I started to look for a video I had seen a few years back and became upset with US politics.

The 60th was a very big celebration in the PRC. The military in the parade was choreographed down to ever step. The march was an amazing “dance” down China’s main street. The men were all selected in part because could walk under two elevated poles. The lower one rejected men that were not tall enough and the higher rejected all the men that were too tall. To march was a great patriotic honor.

China has undergone amazing change over the last 30 years. And there is a duty to protect the country militarily especially after the savage circumstances of WWII which no people should ever endure.

And the ballet was indeed amazing.

On a personal note. I have seen you posting for I guess 10 years now. And have always wondered what it is you do for a living in Thailand, assuming you are not retired there.

Did you notice the guy in white standing behind her when she did the difficult parts, I thought that was good to be safe in case she was to fall.

Retired in the land of smiles, trying to keep my Corvette running and when possible work on my 56 Chevy truck.

Actually I spend most of my day trying to find all of Genes posts but that is really difficult to cover all the Corvette web sites.

The guy in the back is the "spotter" he is there to catch just in case. My first thought was that he should have been in a color to match the backdrop. But white worked better, he blended with the other dancers. And you are so focused the dancers.
