yup.... looks like money well spent and a great deal..... nice color too.... you even get all the dirt and crud..... awesome..... also, good to see the moderator(s) over there are pro-active .... in anticipation of humorous comments ??? :)

wow, did I ever get a great deal on my C3 ..... if the seller had only known he could have gotten that price for just the hood :mobeer:

there must be a crack dealer who's now an authorized vendor on CF
 
Maybe I can get $5000 for the stock '79 steering box that I removed .... It's got some 30+ year grease and dirt too
 
You guys are just jealous jerks. I mean, just look at the condition of the felt insulation! Primo! and the hood release cables are the only ones I've ever seen that still have factory blue paint on them.......That's not dirt, it's "patina". Serious collectors of art understand that adds value to any object.
C'mon, just move on......

I actually got a pretty funny PM from an admin on that deleted advert. Someone asked if the $2500 included shipping. I replied yes, to Botswana.

The admin called me a dumass and said I should know better. He did include laughing smilies though.
 
I guess I got an ok deal then, I paid $2500 for my 73 hood and the guy tossed in the rest of the car for free :lol:
