Yeah....I've got a 1997 Softail Springer that's been in storage since I moved to NM. Just recently took it out of storage and I'm getting it back in running condition. Battery is toast and battery cables are rotten. Clutch and carb need adjustment too.

UHHH...may I ask how long you been storing that BATTERY in a storage shed in NEW MEXICO curiosity, was there an liquid left in it???

Let's see...I moved here in 2006, so three years. It's a sealed battery so I can't look inside. It's the original battery, so not a big deal. It would need to be replaced either way.
