I dunno if RockAuto will ever see this reply, but I find your site rather hard to use, I try searching and get no results.....

for instance, I have this very old Motor Home with a SBC in there, Chevy van chassis it's a '71, guaranfreeking TEE you that engine is not the same....

SO, far as I know there are two styles of starter mounting, the straight lined up bolts, and the staggered......I would have to get under there to look as to which this block has.....easy enough.....

now the extension problem is, the old starter on there is the old style, and so harder to crank over.....I want a newer style mini starter for the thing.....

I know they come in both straight and staggered bolt styles.....

but I can not find them on your site, to be able to pick/PRICE a choice out of the two variations.....

Gene, I use the Rock Auto site a lot and have found that you need to be both creative and persistent in the use of the search feature. I was able to find an engine wiring harness for my Buick convertible that did not come up on their regular list. That being said they do seem to stay with stock only type items and do not offer a lot of aftermarket/performance goodies.
