Having fun in Florida

Great to see you folks having fun.....No one ever comes to visit me.......:crap:

I was in Phuket last month...
May come by next "season."
We plan on delivering the boat to Phuket for some interior refurbishment and will need to leave. :fishing:

Be Careful what you wish for...

May need to stop in at Jim Ludemann's and check out the formula 1000 he's building there.

Cheers - Jim

Looks like everytime I do picture with a member, I manage to take weird pose. This time it was "let sit on the fender" but I was too afraid breaking it.
Karsten, that was anawesome day at your place, Danke again buddy.
Today we went to Cap Canaveral space center, and that was a blast too.
The new Atlantis exhibit was freaking awesome.

So how are you going to get the boat there? Plus who is Jim Ludemann and where does he live?

I do hope you can drop by.
Cheers, Dean

Will make an effort. Thanks for the "invite!" Sorry TT - bet you'll have to buy your own ticket.

Here is what he's building:

Essentially a Formula Ford spec, with a 1000cc motorcycle engine, 15000 rpm, sequential shift, full aero - scalded ass ape! (Oh yeah, 1000# weight limit - with a 200# driver!)

Somehow, I got the idea he may be in Bangkok, maybe a false lead.

As for me, the boat is currently in Malaysia, so it's a few days sail to Phuket.
Will be a minimum of 3 months work - so we'll be doing some off-boat roaming about. Bangkok will be on our list.
Leaving for the states (fly) soon then back to S.E.A. in Nov/Dev.

Cheers - Jim

Hey Dean, If you have a car like that and are willing to pay my ticket...... Please.....anytime....

Other than that: it was a great day with Denis ..... a ton of fun having you here that day !! Didn't feel all that great Sunday morning but I blame the Sam Adams we've had.... I am sure the German beer was ok...... Lol

It looks like ludermann engineering is in Thailand but he does not say where he is located. My guess is he is in Chonburi or Rayon province.

I do see he posted a phone number so I guess you could call him.

Dean, I could drop a PM on the other forum. Maybe do a trip next spring?
