Heat rating of epoxy primer?

So I accidentally sprayed my mufflers with epoxy primer about 2 years ago, without sanding they still have a nice black coat of epoxy stuck to them. No flaking.

How do you guys think epoxy primer would hold up on a set of Hooker sidepipes? I don't even run sidepipes, I've just always wondered what I would do with a pair of rusty black ones if I did get them.

rattle can epoxy ? They sell "appliance epoxy" at HomeDepot, holds up to the heat on my bbq so it should be good for mufflers, probably not good for headers.

For the sidetubes it should be fine but I'd be surprised if the epoxy is good enough for the 4-1 collector.
The primary tubes behind the front wheel are getting blasted by dust and dirt and everything the tires throw at them.... even my stainless primaries look rather ugly - I'd be surprised if any paint can hold up in this environment... :smash:
