I got a call from a fellow on the CF today who was incensed at the bullying & shabby conduct of my “friend” Robert Briggs: a CSI in the Pinellas County Sheriffs Dept. in Florida. Apparently Briggs spends his days surfing the CF to the tune of 135,000+ pearls of wisdom. Often this occurs when he is supposed to be on payroll working for the taxpayers of Pinellas County.

Well this fellow that Briggs ticked off complained to the Pinellas County Sheriffs Dept & ultimately contacted their Internal Affairs Division. Seems that Briggs lied to them about his vicarious internet surfing while on duty. Really? This is the fellow that I identified as a perpetual FkOff long ago & he even had the CF remove the Green globe to signify when he is online.

If this fellow does not get satisfaction from Internal Affairs, he is planning on contacting another watchdog level in Florida county & state government to complain about theft of service – Fking off when he is supposed to be investigating crime – not harassing & belittling Corvette owners on the CF.

I will be filling out this report to show how this FkOff is stealing from the tax payers. Even if you are not a Florida resident, you can complain about this goof off as your Federal tax dollars are fed back to the states. I encourage you to follow through & relay your experiences with Briggs. I also encourage you to be truthful, polite & just give them the facts.

This fellow Briggs in his official capacity has repeatedly attempted to extort me into funding a monthly fee to the CorvetteForum.com. His negative actions are not only directed to me, but others that have had direct experience with my business, DocRebuild – now in our 35th year supplying quality USA replacement part for Corvette automobiles. Unsolicited endorsements of my business are regularly edited by Briggs & those providing the endorsements harassed by him with threat of being banished & otherwise prevented of participating.

You can very easily see how often this fellow is vicariously enforcing the “law” on a chat room (CorvetteForum.com). It’s very simple to see him in action. Follow this link to see when (the date & the times) he is participating on the CorvetteForum & it is clear the taxpayers of Pinellas County are supporting this activity as he is a mega chat room participant 24/7 except for sleep.

Then click on his ID & click on all the threads he has recently started or participated in to see the date & time. Remember – you can only see the last 200-250 of 135,000+. What a literary genius in disguise.

Just think how long it takes to read all those messages that he replied to with his witty aphorisms. Only the most recent 200 messages appear of the 135,000+ messages and this is just on the Corvette Forum – inquire about the separate Florida Corvette Forum & Gun forums he participates in. Frankly & crudely – he’s nothing more than an indolent Goof Off on the Florida taxpayers dole. As a Federal taxpayer, I realize part of my funds are returned to the states and I don’t wish to fund these vicarious chat room jaunts with this fellow.

it's funny i came across this thread because i too have been on the bad end of pewter99 on corvette forum. I paid for the services of a "sponsor" on CF who goes by chuck CoW (corvettes of westchester) for a tune and booster. Total cost of $700. He boasts about how good he is and all his RETUNES ARE FREE. Well, when i called for a retune he told me there would be a fee. He claims because i didn't give him any further business the retunes are not free. I added a CAI and exhaust MYSELF on my car and because i didn't pay him to do it he wanted to charge me more. Meanwhile i spoke to several people that have gotten free retunes from him even after adding mods either by themselves or through other vendors!! Anyway, after several bad posts about chuck on CF i was put on watch because of all my bad talk. Then pewter99 started a bogus thread by another user name on CF baiting me to say something bad about chuck, and i did by sending the guy a PM. Suddenly the thread was removed by pewter99 so it looks like i randomly private messaged a guy talking bad about chuck and he wanted to ban me from CF. I'm currently doing an investigation into pewter and CoW to see if pewter is getting kickbacks from CoW for deleting most bad posts and threads on CF so cow gets business, or if pewter and cow are just friends and he is doing it for a friend. Either way pewter is overstepping his boundaries as a mod and helping a businessman take people's money and not following through on his policies... Pewter didn't realize i'm a retired PO and have resources as well and don't like to get money taken from me. (I tried to put a really long story into a short one so it may not make perfect sense so if anyone wants to know more of my story PM me and i will tell all....) :beer:

lol thanks. Yup, first post because I stumbled upon this site/thread in my investigation into pewter and chuck cow. The sad thing is if it weren't for mods like him, and thieves like cow being able to run free with no consequences, it would be an awesome site as well.... I've recently found out that it's been going on a while now that 95% of bad posts about him have been removed by pewter and a few other mods so he thinks he can do what he wants with no bad in return... anyway, I met a number of great people on there, but it's flawed by money being the ruling factor.

I have no love for the overbearing piece of shit as he did me dirty too. CF is a whorehouse, I avoid it.

Edit: I thought that he was officially reprimanded or disciplined by the sheriff's office for this kind of behavior in the past?

My guess would be no because since i joined CF a little over a year ago he was on 24/7 posting all over the place. All of a sudden for the last 2-3 weeks or so he hasn't posted more than a handful of times, so i guess this thread is taking effect. I have no respect for people that fu*k other people to get what they want. Pewter and especially chuck cow are 2 of those people, so i thank anyone who shed's light on either of their wrongdoings...
