Well if we did it was not felt in san clemente, but baja is a large area some 900 miles long I think.

5.9 about 400 miles south at 11:40

Yep shakes just right. Well tomarrow I will be in brookings oregon. Working my
way up to portland. So far in places I have lived I have always been out of town
when any thing major happens I hope this is not one of those times. lived in crescent city ( but was out of town)when it was wiped out by the tital wave 1/2 block from my house'
major quakes in so cal from 64 to now. Always away from where it happened. lucky Maybe......

We lived in San Bernardino when the twin quakes in Big Bear and Landers happened. My best brain burning, that was a big quake, around 8.4? That was the one that made me decide that this old NC redneck needed to get out of there. My ma-in-law said I was a sissy because I didn't like the quakes. I told her to put her fat ass on the back of my Harley and let's go 110 down the freeway, she said no way Jose'. Of course, I HAD to call her a sissy. Not seen her since, had I only known. I'd done that 30 years ago. But that's another thread right there. OMG I better stop right now.
