Holden V8 chainsaw.....

Interesting...a 253 cubic inch Chevy engine. You'd think they would have used a 327 or a 350. Oh well, pretty impressive anyhow.

I didn't know there was a 253 cubic inch Chevy small block. I thought the smallest was a 283.

I also remember the 1955, 265 ci SBC...Ford had the 272 over head valve motor in 54.

A version of the aluminum Olds/Rover/Triumph 215 cid V8 maybe?

GM sold that 215 ci engine to the Brits, appearing in the Land Rover/Range Rover???? and maybe some cars....

I know the Brits did a FI setup for it......

My Mom had a '63 Olds F85 with that engine, same A body as the later on 442, even with the 2bbl it always ran fine....:loveletter:

It's refreshing to see that the world's redneck population is not confined to just the U.S.

That thing reminds me of Tim Allen's v8 lawn mower.

:1st: Wanna talk LAWNMOWER mods??? ehehehe....got you....

a FWD Sears/Briggs....Florida sand for lawns...and so the treaded driven FWD, and jack up the run speed on the engine by almost double the RPM by sound....(not getting all scientific about it)....had a trouble starting it, got tired of the pull start crap.....took off the recoil start, cut a hole in the top cap, and got welded a socket to fit the crank bolt on to the 3/8 socket extension, cut the large/wrench end off it, and fits into my 1/2" electric drill with 15' cord on it....:shocking::shocking:

NOW for the DRAGSTER LOOK....I put cheep wheels in back, from Harbor Freight, about a foot in diameter and 2" wide so to make the moving back easy on the tilt up/handling....I lower it down to the ground almost....that crap is MINE in 30 minits, or less.....

Known in the burb here as a hotrod lawnmower....GIT ER DUN@@!!!!!:1st:
