Hua Hin Automobile Concourse 2013

This was one of two vintage car events that I attended in Hua Hin held in December 2013.

It was a pleasant surprise to receive the press choice award.

That is a digital tachometer with a shift light built in. I have it set at 5800 rpm or when the cam is at its peak HP. You are very funny, this is Thailand there is no law.

Once again some pictures of your beautiful car. Just looks absolutely new!

I haven't been to Thailand for four years now. At that last visit, I lived in a hotel for about three weeks and one of the regular residents was a Belgian citizen who had lived in Thailand for many years and had a business there. He described, for example, that Pattaya was dominated by Russian mafia, ..don't have a clue if this is true..He also said that Hua Hin was relatively corruption free since the royal family dominates Hua Hin. He, like many in Thailand, were worried where the country would go when the King dies. This was a worry four years ago, now even more of a worry.

Translation: Hua Hin. Hua = face, Hin =stone. The town of Hua Hin has a large stone boulder outside of town that looks like a human face. I've been there several times. There's a substantial number of European expats that live there.

Yes Pattaya has a lot of Russians but don't believe everything you hear, there is only one mafia in this country and they all have police uniforms on.
