Thanks for the video.
Before watching, I had run down to the local Starbuck's, got a decaf and muffin, and came back with my breakkie to scan through vettemod and discover your video. It was pleasant to watch. I couldn't help but to think that this is a very historical part of the country. The French and Indian wars, etc. This is probably an enchanting time of the year for that area with the warm weather and green foliage.

Thank you BBC

I love the country. We saw one black bear.
Virtually no cell phone service for a week.
The good old days.
Went to the drive in movie twice - so we could take my boy Sam.
The new Jason Bourne flick & new Bourne character actor were great.
The expendables 2 sucked.
We've now been to 3 drive-in's in VT & I think there are only 3 in the state.

The drive ins are a dying breed. There is only one left in my area that I know of and it is about a 45 minute ride from home.

Great video Geoff. Very peaceful. Nice that you were able to take in a drive in too. There are a few that I know of out here but none are nearby. I love to take my kids when we're on vacation.

Geoff,

Thanks for sharing that video. I just love Vermont. My daughter lives there now – she decided to stay after finishing college there and I can’t blame her a bit. She’s up around Jeffersonville; I told her to save me a spot. I would chuck Connecticut in a minute for a spread up there.

Doc:

As nice as Vermont is, I would take New Hampshire if the political climate today is reasonably close to what it was 30 years ago.

Live Free or Die!

Yep VT is for N0bama
NH is hopefully for those not suckling on the government

Years ago, a old neighbor friend not 8 houses down, was from New Hampshire, and we got into that odd ball New England gig where the NH guys on one side of the mountain ridge were conservative, and the guys on the other side, Vermont were all liberals....I think it's the Massachusetts influence, east end of the state is Boston, liberal as hell, the rest of the state is more smaller town conservative, look what's north.....
Mike worked on the early state drones we fly today killing off idiots....this was 30 years ago, I asked what he did for the Navy, he said played with model airplanes.....but 30 years ago, I laughed it off as being a cute comment because his shit was classified.....NOW.....:rofl::drink:

Do you know the names and towns. We're trying to make it to all the drive-ins in New England eventually.

If you find yourself in the Champlain area, drive North for one hour and you're in Montreal. Michel and I would love to have for a dinner or a beer.

Turtlevette - better late than never
The Sunset Drive In is in Colchester, VT near Mallets Bay. The second was the Fairlee motel and drive-in theater in Fairlee, VT. This second one is really fun to visit - http://www.docrebuild.com/dr-r-web/Fairlee-Motel.html
The third was in Manchester, CT but I forgot the address. Looking these up - I found this link – who knew ??

Denpo - I don't have a passport & they may not let me back in on the way home. Plus I cannot fathom the TSA grabbing my loins or molesting my wife or touching my dogs privates

Driving thru he border is pat free, the customs on both side are rather easy going. Passport is mandatory though.
