idle screw extenders?

does anyone know where I can find a idle screw cable extender. I saw one on a carb that replaces the idle throttle screw and is about 6 to 8 inches long. It replaces the throttle stop screw and you can easily adjust your idle rpm by turning it in or out. To get at my adjuster is a real pain.

I know some motorcycles had one to adjust the idle when temperature or altitude changes. Also diesel trucks had one on the dash.

I thought that would be an easy one but I've done a few searches and nothing has turned up yet. Maybe they went away with the carbretour but I'm surprised not to have them turn up.

Maybe we're just calling them the wrong thing. JC Whitney has gotta have them!:idea:
