There is a fine line between brave and stupid. I'll go with stupid on this one.
This bull elk could have skewered the photographer and sent him to the happy hunting grounds with one short charge and lunge with his horns. Not to mention what he could have done with his hoofs. He (the photographer) is lucky to be alive. Personally, instead of a camera I would rather have been looking at this bull elk through the eyepiece of a scope mounted on a .243 Winchester. I love elk tenderloins with mashed potatoes and gravy.
