I got enough blues of my own, I don't need to seek more. I look there when I'm really bored, once every few months. Couple people I respect there. That said, it's still a hell of a lot better than CF. To each his own.
 
Cripes! I just checked my old PMs that were still at DC. I sent one to a mod that nearly blew me away. I didn't even recognize it as my writing!!!!! I would copy and paste it here, but it would probably get me banned all over again at DC. May even get me banned here, it's THAT bad. I really was a wild and crazy guy back in those days. :amazed::eek::twitch::smash:
 
Post it, it's between you and DC. If you vent it here, your decision. We don't moderate heavily here and most anything goes (except for turtle LOL)

Don't really think the PM was too bad myself.

Okay, this was from February of 2008. The background...GrandSportC3 (aka Oliver) was posting all kinds of BS about his car. I started needling him about it and the mods didn't like what I posted. Back then I had a VERY sharp tongue and could really piss people off. Here is the first and second warnings I received ON THE SAME DAY from two different mods:

We've talked about this, let things go. You try and uproot everything he posts and you'll only make yourself look like a complete fool in the forums. Quit posting in his threads and he'll vanish but keep giving him reasons to respond and all you do is help strengthen his presence.

I already told Dan I am done with that lieing fu** Oliver and posting in his threads. NOTHING I said was a personal attack. If Oliver gets all pissy about me asking him embarassing questions that he has to lie about, too frigging bad. If you mods are gonna just let anyone post any type of BS on DC, then you might as well rename the place Corvette Forum Annex. If all this forum is gonna be is a hand-holding kissyfaceplace where people can't ask reasonable questions about BS that is posted, then what's the point of having a forum? I don't know who else that came over from the CF gave me a bad rap. And to be honest, I really don't care. Lots of Durango_Boy's buddies hate my guts, and I'm sure they are at DC now. Should I worry about them? I don't think so.
I post very rarely on DC. Mainly because so much of it has become just like CF. So for me to post here at all, it has to be something pretty major going on.
I guess I will just STFU and let the CF loyalists, of which Oliver is one, take over things at DC too.
Jason, I have nothing personal against you or any other mod. But you mods seem to be scared sh**less that someone won't agree with, or may have an argument with someone else. Cripes...not everyone sees eye-to-eye with everyone. And mods don't need to get all bajiggity when someone DOESN"T agree with someone else. A disagreement does not equal a flame war and will not automatically become one.

But then again, this place is a lot more lenient and we don't have any of the goofs from Corvette Forum stirring up poop here. It certainly was a wild and wooly time back then. I can't picture ever saying that to anyone nowadays.

Maybe that because people from my country like to argue all daylong , but all this sounds to me like nothing worse than a regular VM discussion, you were actually quiet articulate in expressing your right to disagree.
The mod banning you for that is living in lalaland.
