.
It's actually the second time I've done it, highly recommend it... they have like 20+ locations across the US....

Only bad ting is that now I think my C6 handles like a dump truck.....

:surrender::surrender::bump:

regular price is $399 for 8 laps, there are deals and you can find 50% off coupons.... they do Nascar as well (Richard Petty driving experience).

I progressed from 99mph to 118.7mph over the 6 laps (first "out", last "in")...

Top speed that day was 122mph. It feels a lot faster.... although I tried I just didn't stay on the throttle going into the corners :crap:

The g-forces are amazing, it's like the car is on rails :bump::bump:

One being easy, ten being hard as hell, how do you rate the difficulty of driving the car at speed, through turns??

think it was a handful, and how long did it take to get acquainted with the car??

:thumbs::)

A friend just did the NASCAR thing at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It was $500.00. When he arrived after the briefing, they told him for another $100.00. He can take a few laps first with an experinced driver and learn the line, so he did. Comming out of turn two they went right up against the wall. Riding shot gun, he had the crap scared out of him. Then told OK, now it's your turn. I found that pretty funny!

Hey Karsten, that looks like a blast!

I did the stock car thing there a couple years ago. It didn't do much for me (turn left, straighten, repeat). An indy car looks to be a bit more fun.

Question: Was the 122 a max speed or a lap average?

I did the Richard Petty deal at Texas. It was a lot of fun. Texas has really steep banking and it was really strange sensation to drive on it and have little if any feeling of lateral force.

How fast were you going??

It's quiet a handful, no power steering and the steering wheel is like 10" diameter :lol:
With every lap you're getting more and more used to the car, 8 laps is not enough but 20 laps is a little pricey :D

top speed.... it feels a lot faster than it is.....

when you're in the car all you see is the top of two tires, the track is in between those two tires :lol:

This is pretty much what you see from inside the car...
