I know I have posted this subject before but it simply amazes me what some idiots will do.
Why should an elderly man be jogging in traffic on a 2 lane highway that has no sidewalk or shoulder during rush hour? Has he decided that if he can't jog where he wants that life is not worth living? :suicide:
Why should two privileged soccer moms with double wide jogging strollers decide to jog in traffic during rush hour - again ignoring the sidewalks or jogging paths? :suicide:
Why should some woman decide to "power walk" with earbuds in her ears right down the middle of the street, again ignoring the sidewalk and forcing traffic to cross into oncoming traffic to accommodate her arrogance?
WTF is our society coming to?
A few years back a local DOCTOR was killed by a box truck because he insisted on jogging in traffic on a busy street.
 
I C this idiocy here all the time, and getting worse, avoided several today....

even with sidewalks WE paid for, they still walk in the streets, methinks many need killing off to get the message across....

BTW Bicycles belong on sidewalks.....NOT streets, fuck the judges....common sense rules....fizzicks rules....

We have sidewalks throughout Anaheim, but in my neighborhood, they walk in the street at night. I have asked many of them not to walk on the street, and I won't start driving on the sidewalk.:confused2:

Speaking for myself I like driving on sidewalks:twitch:..... No traffic lights, no stop signs, no yield signs......

That seems like a hard rule to follow, I pay my taxes for all of the street and it's abutments:rofl:

The only time I ever drove on a sidewalk, boy did I fuck over Wash DC but good THAT day, so did the hippy protestors.....who got lucky I was not near them in MY car....drove about 1/2 a city block on the sidewalk jumped the curb and went on my way, some idiot in a VW bus blocked me into a alley we waited about 1/2 hour, no show, I pulled into reverse, and backed him out of the alley and into the street, only break in traffic was in front of this 18 wheeler, poor guy, so on this narrow one way street, with parking on both sides, he was blocked....:hissyfit: Year was '72 :D

right.... we grew up watching Chuck Norris and Charles Bronson movies..... jogging on the interstate during rush hour is just something we do.....

Dumshitness aside, my girlfriend told me "I walk in the street because people can jump out of the bushes and attack you if you're on the sidewalk." She's a tiny cute little thing, I could see that happening to her.
On the other hand, morons wearing 'earbuds' and sunglasses texting while jogging in the street at dawn need to be removed from the gene pool (Oh!! ha ha ha sorry, the Gene Pool? :D) I just don't want to do it because I don't want to go to prison for a morons "rights".

I ride my bike on the street and the law is on my side. I stop for stop signs and traffic lights just like a car has to. If you don't like it pose off

When my kids were little, and I got them scooters and bikes, I told them to no EVER ride in the street, except where our house was because there were no sidewalks, but to stay on the lawns or curbside, but if a sidewalk was available, to use it, and if anyone said anything to them, tell them to talke to ME about it.....keep riding in the street, one time you will get dusted off but good, and you will learn, just like my ex BIL in SF one time, ran his tire into a drain grate, flipped his ass head over and got tore up pretty bad, teach is dumb as to NOT ride in the street...:evil: but I bet he didn't change, PHD or not, he was a bit of a airhead....typical liberal.....:harhar:

I'm a bicyclist as well. I love hearing the "you don't pay taxes" argument - not true, I own lots of cars and pay more than my fair share or the "you're blocking traffic." I've done this several times, raced the person who said that line - once from nw Seattle to Tacoma (40+ miles) and won.... so not sure where they get that :). As for stop signs, The last week I've been counting cars who actually stop for stop signs/lights - and my conclusion is none of them do - yet they get all over bicyclists for not stopping, tell ya what, when you follow the law, then you can tell me how to follow the law.

But, I do appreciate the McDonalds swilling set who raise their blood pressure over the perceived sins of bicyclists - just means they die sooner. :harhar:
 
Here in Vegas there seems to be an active campaign to kill dumbasses who walk in the street. 63 so far this year.

This mornings news filmed a new crosswalk in one of the most affected areas. The survivors still wouldn't bother to walk to the crosswalk.

I say Darwinism is at work!

BTW, I too am an avid cyclist but if you're going to push your "rights" against that 3000 pound car then you are the dumbass!
