Found a 73 for sale yesterday and I just couldn't leave it sit. The car has a rebuilt title and no engine. The Frame is screwed but, I mostly wanted for the from clip. Paint is flaking off but all of the fiberglass short of the hood is in very good shape.
Interior is fair at best. The gauges are in nice condition. Non power windows, non tilt column.
Radiator support in shot. Rusted out on the bottom then someone hacked it apart and welded it back together to try and make the body line back up. Looks like a fairly new radiator though.
The fame had some nasty repairs around the cross member and the main reason the guy sold the car.
This is what I found when looking the car over though. Its actually buckled on the right rail just below the firewall.
I don't think I did to bad on it. Paid $1000 for it. It came with a 400 trans, 2 drive shafts and yokes. No engine. The front nose is glass instead of urethane and it is the PM panels with bonding strips not hand laid glass. So no once I get the clip pulled for my car I will have to decide weather or not to part it out or drag another parts car home for this one. So far what I have been able to see the birdcage looks to be in very good condition. I will inspect it further with a bore scope latter.
