I installed mine today. 5 Years of telephone service for under $70.00. Shit - I pay that for one months worth of service with Crumcast or Verpoizon. I called it (my new magic jack number) from another number and it seems to work fine. I will update as needed but so far I am sold on it.:thumbs:

works good

I have one the only problem is the new phone number. I have had mine for a while.
Keven has one also. lets see what he has to say.

My wife has 3 cphone lines, and one with Magic jack...MJ is mainly for FAX...but is used for talking once in a while....

there is some problems with the FAX once in a while, and unsure as to just why...sometimes it's fine..other times it's a cluster fuck....

but certainly worth the money easy, hands down....

:bump:

I use skype (Voip) i can call any land line or cell in the world. It will text and also do video phone in a fluid motion. This is all done with a usb phone in the house or anywhere I can get a wireless signal. This is all done for a nominal fee. If you want to use skype from PC to PC it is all free.

OH, same topic in a email just the other day, Wife says using a slightly better phone is/seems important, the cheep one she used at first was all noisey and funky, the slightly better one at 15 bux works fine and sounds normal....

:shocking::p

Make sure the emergency services know your current address, I had watched a show on this where the ambulance was dispatched to the wrong location.

Sounds great. I heard they had some kind of lawsuits/problems I think that's all worked out.
