More RAIN today!

I'm so tired of rain and storms!My poor lawn mower is about to quit on me.By the time that it dries out enough to mow the grass is too long to cut! If it was winter,how much snow would we have??

We have gotten more rain than usual (in Ohio). No comparison to what you have. However I did fertilize my lawn this year and it's growing faster than I can cut it! Big mistake.:banghead:

I'm just a little south of Show-- and I'm in trouble too. I have a commercial lawn service spray for bugs and weeds, and put down their stuff to make it grow. With all the rain, the last time I was home I mowed the yard 4 times. First was to knock it down to where I could bag it, second was to chop up what I'd cut down so I could bag it, third was to bag it, and the fourth was to clean up what the first round with the bag had missed. I could fill the bed of a full size pickup to the top of the cab with what I've got for a compost pile. And have enough left to fill a Jap pickup.

Tim, anything larger than 1/4 acre is too big.....

need just enough for a 20 minit mow....and a flower patch.....
