My all time dumbest moment

Today I started on installing a corvette serpentine drive on my 82 vette and after hours of looking at internet pictures and assembly manuals on how things are supposed to go, I finally realized it would have been simpler a few hours ago just to look at my 90 vette. This is probably my dumbest moment !!!!!

but not on that point....I remembered my '87 vette pretty good, ....and had a set of drives/brackets on hand from another '87, bought a '88 a/c comp and bracket for this '72....

thank you GM for using a shark as a R&D test bed for the C4 drive train....

BTW, what's with all the fascination converting to serpentine belts? I lost interest years ago when a friend's '86 lost the bearing on the tensioner pulley and pitched it through the hood. Know how much it costs to fix a 4"x4" hole in a c4 clamshell hood?

Yes my 97 camaro killed a idler pulley and smoked the living hell out of it's belt then the pulley rolled out from under the car. PITA to removed all that shredded belt everywhere.

I just like serpentine because they are easy to change is all

In all honesty, it was that with the kid's mom, but wife 1 was fine....

wife 3 here now is the best of the picks, EASY......no sweat....
