I'm guessing about 1949 or 1950 in the car. Dogs are man's best ...

My old man rebuilt the V12 in that late 30's Lincoln Zephyr.
My mother told me, she helped him lap the valves in, what ever that entailed.

Another buddy of mine has a V12 Jag U R, and that was very smooth running. I really remember nothing of the V12 Lincoln except what I've said.
