i went in to my local interstate distributor to get a new optima battery, and the owner who is a friend of mine says ill sell you whatever you want but you want this, i said whats "this" the new interstate AGM battery. so i bought one and I can say it spins that starter with enthusiasm . time will tell but so far i am very happy with it, it can handle the load. I'm going to get one for the other car too.

I've had a Inrstate battery a few years ago in my Z28, lasted about 5 years in Florida heat and daily driving.... duralast from Autozone isn't bad either.....

im a big fan of the glass mat battery design. this interstate unit jump started my neighbors 300 h.p diesel engined truck that was slam dead. and it didn't even break a sweat. he went and got two.

Just bought a 750 Cold Cranking Amp battery from Sears for the DD 97 Tbird. Cost $202 dollars, tax included. This seems very expensive. I'd thought that a battery replacement would be about $120.00 I'd guess environmental fees are driving the prices up.

yeoow! i did pay more for the a.g.m battery but for a normal battery it seems high. optima is running a deal buy one of their a.g.m batteries and they sell you the battery charger for 1/2 price or give you the maintainer free. seems strange a battery company is giving you a deal on a battery charger:lol:
