What is your car sitting on? Tool boxes? You sure you don't live in Alabama or Mississippi or something?

I have a helper cat too.

actually there is something worse than a cold creeper.....cold concrete

I dunno, Maryland was chilly enough, and through the years up there, the winters were best passed by with 2 t shirts, a sweat shirt, and a outer jacket I didn't care about....and when ever I had the chance, I"d TRY a creeper, and found them such a PIA, never again....so types/styles change once in a while and so I try another, ONE of them got flung....at any rate, down here in nice WARM SUNNY FLORIDA, the concrete never freezes...maybe 55f if that...

SO a stepson offers me this slick surface odd cut rubber mat from some bowling alley he used to work for it's about 4' long 2' wide odd cuts outta the corners, and about 1/4" thick....bottom is rough to not slide on concrete, the top side is slick as snot on a brass doorknob....(old joke from HS yet, some kid had a flu and greases the locked class doorknob with his snot) :smash::stirpot:

so anyway this mat works like mad, I slide under with NO clearance problems, better control, and it's not that chilly, really....

you all in moderate climates maybe give that a shot, guys....

:smash::2nd:

Totally agree that creepers are more aggro than benefit. As soon as you twist something you slide away.

I have a four fold padded mat that I adore. Sadly I can't find a replacement anyhere, all I see is one inch thick bi-folds. They'd probably be fine but I love my four fold!:loveletter:
