I'm trying to make a replacement fitting to weld to the exhaust pipe to measure the turbine inlet pressure. I have a spare O2 sensor plug I can use to cap up the hole when I'm done, so I need to get a tap that matches the O2 sensor thread. Can anyone tell me what that thread size is?

Thanks,
Mike

when plugging the hole,.coat the threads with copper paste and don't yank the plug vety tight, it will never come out otherwise. I always use stainless bungs.

Got the (pressure gauge) line fitting welded into the pipe feeding the turbine, along with a tap at the turbo exhaust outlet, and taps at the compressor inlet and outlet. I'd been wanting to do some pressure/line drop measurements on the system for several years, but all I had time to do on the car (prior to it ending up in storage due to a couple of long distance moves) was work out the new fuel and spark calibrations in the ECM, and put some bigger brakes (13") on the car to get it to stop. The car felt as fast as the '69 on track days, but I always wanted to find out what parts of the induction system were potential bottlenecks to a bit more power. Hooking up a couple gauges to these locations should give me a better picture of things.
