O2 sensor thread size?

I know it's the same as a old fashioned 13/16th sparkplug was....the old socket size...

both thread and diameter are the same....if that's any help...

maybe a hose clamp over some pipe into a old plug body??

:shocking:

Why not get a stainless weld bung? I have never had a stainless bung seize, use a little anti seize on the sensor (new comes w/ it on threads) and screw it in. I've had them stuck in mild steel quite a few times. The stainless bungs can be bought cheap on ebay.

I'm not sure I'm following your thought here. Everything is already installed and functional for the O2 sensor I was using the other week. I just want to screw a pressure gauge line into this fitting to see what sort of backpressure level I have with the current twin mufflers versus the single muffler I'm planning to install down the road.

I might just consider drilling and tapping the plug as that would probably be less headache than trying to find an 18mm fitting around here.

That is what I thought you meant, hence my suggestion of the old style spark plug, and fit a short pipe to it....blow out the ceramic, drill/tap/weld/braze/glue a nipple to it, and hook your gauge....
