On NBC right now.....cruise liner going down at sea....off South Africa, apparently....

and so to read Sir Francis Chichester first man to circumnavigate the world alone....

the oceans are a bitch....

I believe the show on Dateline NBC is a documentary of the sinking which occured Aug. 4 , 1991.

YES, I knew it was a documentary....but missed when it happened....

by NO means I compare my small boat experiences with those on a major boat....but I can appreciate the terror and experiences....
