Is there no way for you to combine shipping? I want to order some brake parts but have postponed it every time with my last 2 orders, problem is the parking brake cables and brake pads are always in a different location, so I'll end up with 3 locations and shipping costs that are 3 times higher than the actual parts cost. For the rest the service is great and lightning fast delivery too.

I agree. Was getting ready to order a radiator for my truck then I thought I would add in some small stuff I needed since I was ordering. After seeing the shipping charges because of being shipped from different locations I decided to only get the radiator.

Yes, a lot of potential sales fall through because of that and for us international customers it's even worse, double or triple the shipping fees and we get taxed over the total + shipping so there it doesn't help either. I wanted to buy brake lines, parking brake cables, calipers bolts & guide pins, pads and some other bits and pieces. I only bought the other bits and pieces and some guide pins. The rest was on 3 different locations.

I wonder if we US continentals could help by gathering the parts and reshipping in one go? Shipping costs could add up but at least it would be in one package? I get packages here all the time and have a local guy that has done very well shipping things to Estonia and Moscow.

Just a thought...

I have a freight forwarder KPS, Karsten Postal Service ;) but it becomes a hassle when you have to arrange a shipping method like that for every little iddy bitty part. Also, the poor guy bought a car with a trunk just so he didn't have to haul more boxes in a vette...I feel guilty LOL

Hello,

Thank you for your posts. Below are a few suggestions for helping to try and minimize shipping costs.

To minimize shipping costs:

* Use the truck icons in the shopping cart and in the catalog to help you minimize the number of locations your order will ship from. As you add parts to the shopping cart, the truck icons with letters represent the location where your part will be shipping from (location A, B, C, etc.). A blank truck icon in the catalog is showing you that the particular part is available from the same location as a part in your shopping cart.
* Ship to your office or business, rather than your home (commercial rates are lower).

For International Customers:

GT6Steve has a great suggestion. If you know someone (or a freight forwarder) in the US that the parts can be shipped to we can ship to the US address, then that person (or company) can combine the order and ship them via the cheapest means possible to you.

Thank you,

Cynthia

Right but that is the problem. Allot of times I can't get the parts I want all from the same location. Really the trans filter kit is alittle bit cheaper than local, but because it has to ship separate I am forced to pass on buying it from you. Most company's that ship from multiple locations do that to speed up and cheapen shipping. Unfortunately your multiple locations are costing more shipping and more importantly business for you. Either way my local parts stores are thanking you for your multiple shipping locations.
