Oil filter adapter without bypass?

I pulled the few accessories off my replacement block yesterday to get it ready for the machine shop. The block was prepped pretty much for track use including an oil filter adapter without a bypass. While I'm sure this has been discussed before, I don't recall ever reading about it.

For cars that see very few miles per season and between oil changes, is there any reason not to force all of the oil through the filter or is the risk of oil starvation just too great?

Brutal 64 has used a non bypass adapter for years, and swears never an issue. Me, I've always just used the stock unit. I suppose you could argue both ways.

I only use non bypassing ones also, don't want unfiltered oil through the mains and the rear bearing especially. I do use system 1 filters, they are burst proof.

For the last 39 years we have plugged our bypasses with zero problems but also have used a good filter as well.
