Ohio does have some good ones:

It is illegal to fish for whales on Sunday.
It is illegal to get a fish drunk.
The Ohio driver’s education manual states that you must honk the horn whenever you pass another car.
Participating or conducting a duel is prohibited.
Breast feeding is not allowed in public.
It is illegal for more than five women to live in a house.

The local Police Chief here used to have his boys write me an excessive # of tickets. After a letter to the Governor's office and another to a local newspaper exposing his habits he cut the crap out. My next step would have been to sue his bloated ass for harassment.

This shit about parking on unpaved areas and the mayor ignoring people like that - I would have publicly called the mayor out on TV and humiliated his ass.

Actually, he did a pretty good job of it on his own.

I'll bet if you follow that mayor and his cronies around long enough they will park in the dirt too.
 
That's sad but true. About ten years ago, I was in mayors court and was talking to the guy sitting next to me. Seems he had to replace the CV joints on his car and lived in a small house that had no on street parking and was short enough that you could only get one car in the driveway without blocking the sidewalk.

So, he pulled the car he was working on into the driveway and his wife parked behind him. He tears the CV joints out which requires removal of the front suspension and wheels. Cops show up and give him a ticket for blocking the driveway. So he gets a friend with a tow truck to move the car he is working on to the grass next to the drive. He gets another ticket for not parking on pavement. So then he tears down his fence and moves the car to the concrete patio behind his house!

He was found guilty on both charges.

No, after he got stuck in a basement and could not get out, and with his machine disabled, he shot himself in the cab. It took something like 24 hours with drills, saws & cutting torches to get into the cat & get his body out.
But it did expose the political cronyism of the town and brought change to the system. Many were against him but many also were in sympathy with his situation.

This video is only 10 minutes worth of an event that took years to develope, and most of a day to unfold when it came to this final climax.

Interesting story, seems like he had good reason to be mad. The guy is sort of a cult hero on the internet.
