I'm going to paint the front surround on my '79 once the bodywork on the front flares is finished.... haven't painted in a while so I needed some practice :D

..... so I decided to paint stripes on the (Mustang) hood. Three coats black, one coat clear... let it sit over night, then wetsanded with 600 grit, sprayed three more coats of clear....

Looks very good Karsten :bounce: im getting the bug to paint some more myself. Laurie got me an airbrush and supplies for Christmas and i have been practicing with some water colors, soon as i feel confident with it im going to paint the live fire flames on the under side of my hood.

Just get some old hood or body panel to practice on. Doesn't matter if you end up with 10 layers of paint on it :D

I have the stock hood for the Mustang - that's going to be painted as well, probably straight stripes this time and probably black metallic.... fun fun fun....

I know, I should spend all this time to get the '79 done :clobbered::clobbered:

as soon as it warms up here i have an old hood that i will start practicing on with real paint. the water color paint is good to practice with for right now,it's cheap.

in the driveway again???

No this time I took the hood off and painted it on the side of the house - the neighbor on that side wasn't home :D

Just so your aware ...... :smash:
Being that you live in the middle of a neighborhood.......

ANYTHING they can do to run the costs of auto ownership through the roof, making it impossible to afford INSURANCE, drive repair prices sky high, and for NO GAIN....that's the trick, it's all based on bullshit from the friggin' Siera club suit.....

EPA needs be defunded completely......send all the weenies home, let them get a REAL job......
