Years ago there was a similar car made in Germany, kinda ugly with a propeller at the rear of the car. This one looks much much nicer and seems much more effective and powerful....but if worse comes to worse and it gets upside down will it float?

Perfect car for Thailand. Imagine the looks "driving" down a Klong, out on the river.
